Seminole Valley Farm Museum is a 1900 farm site listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We are a non-profit organization ran completely by volunteers. Normal open hours are Sunday, 1 to 4, May through September (except Holidays). The Museum is a restored farm site to show what early farm life was like in Iowa.

Due to the June flood of 2008, the museum is currently closed to the public for repairs. However, we will continue to host our 3 annual outdoor events while we rebuild. Please visit us at these events and help support the museum in its efforts to re-open soon. For information on any of our events, please click on "Upcoming Events" and choose the event you are interested in.

Steam & Gas Engine Show
Start making plans to join us for our Steam & Gas Engine show this year. The dates are May 21st and May 22nd. Check out our events page for more information and photos of past shows. This year we have opened up our saturday night meal to the public. It is being catered by Huntington's from Marion. The food is always great. And then stay around and watch our Night Spark Show from the Steam Engines at dusk. Or just come back out and join us at dusk. The Spark Show is Free. We are also planning to add to our Flea Market section this year.As we have cancelled the Fall Farm Festival, we are inviting all the vendors and crafters from that show to join us at this one. It promises to be a great, entertaining, and interesting weekend for us. And check out our new "rebuilding photos" and check out the progress when you stop out and see us. Things are starting to happen.
