Seminole Valley Farm Museum

Seminole Valley Farm Museum is a 1900 farm site listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We are a non-profit organization ran completely by volunteers. Normal open hours are Sunday, 1 to 4, May through September (except Holidays). The Museum is a restored farm site to show what early farm life was like in Iowa.

Due to the June flood of 2008, the museum is currently closed to the public for repairs. However, we will continue to host our 3 annual outdoor events while we rebuild. Please visit us at these events and help support the museum in its efforts to re-open soon.  Rendezvous 2011
Our thanks to everyone who came out and made our 2011 Rendezvous a great time. We had great news coverage with KGAN and Fox. Thursday morning was a great time with Josh and Drew from KGAN. Thank you to Pie Lady and all those with her for running the kids games that we added this year. It went over fantastic and we look forward to doing even more next year.  Jim and Angie with Country Cooking Concessions did a wonderful job for a last minute call. They even added Indian Tacos for us. As always the food was great and we look forward to them coming back next year. Some that we can't forget are Al and Collin Stuefen, who did a great job on the bow shoot and candy cannon, and Bob and Andy Lee did a great job on the Hawk and knife throw. Our thanks to them. While the wind caused a bit of a problem on Thursday and Friday, the weather over all was great for the weekend. While we might be a small event, we have a great time and we can never thank everyone who comes out enough. We are already looking forward to next year.
